Due to concerns regarding COVID-19 (CoronaVirus), meeting for worship and other activities at Friends Meeting of Austin have been suspended beginning this Sunday March 15, 2020. This includes mid-week meeting and all comittee meetings and classes normally held at the meetinghouse.
Friends may join us for a worship session by video-conference (Zoom) at our usual worship time, 11am until noon this on any Sunday until we are back in the meeting house. The next meeting for worship video-conference will be on March 22, 2020. Watch for the announcement in your email or check the web site.

Our decision was taken at a called Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business conducted via video-conference (Zoom) on March 14, 2020, friends present agreed to the following minutes in the face of the current and continuing health emergency in our world.
2020.03.07 Friends Meeting of Austin agrees to suspend in-person meeting for worship and committee meetings at the meeting house for the next four weeks with an ad hoc committee assigned to continually monitor the situation and recommend any continuing changes at the three week point to give adequate advance notice.
2020.03.08 Friends Meeting of Austin agrees to pay our childcare and cleaning workers during this hiatus.
2020.03.09 Friends Meeting of Austin has decided to close the meeting house properties for gatherings for the coming weeks and we strongly urge our lessees to do the same.
